This information was given in the report of the Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Health Department on Saturday evening regarding the flood situation in the country.
It said that two more people died due to floods in the last 24 hours. Apart from this, 557 new people have come under the grip of various diseases during this period.
According to the report, so far 121 people have died in 14 districts of the country. 67 people died in Sylhet division. Of these, 20 have died in Sylhet Sadar Upazila, 29 in Sunamganj, 11 in Maulvibazar and 7 in Habiganj.
41 people died due to floods in Mymansingh division. In these, 6 people have died in Mymansingh, 19 in Netrakona, 9 in Jamalpur and 7 in Sherpur. Apart from this, 12 people have died due to floods in Rangpur division so far. Of these, 5 died in Kurigram and 7 in Lalmonirhat. Apart from this, one person died due to floods in Tangail of Dhaka division.
